The vision behind this villa was to create a modern home that combines luxury architecture with comfort, while staying closely tied to its natural surroundings. The client’s request was for a residence that feels open and connected to the outdoors, yet still provides privacy, functionality, and long-term durability. Every design decision was shaped to meet these expectations, balancing aesthetics with practical performance.

One of the key architectural choices was the use of natural stone cladding across large portions of the façade. This material was selected for its ability to withstand changing weather conditions with minimal maintenance. It gives the villa a sense of solidity while blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. Complementing the stone, vertical wooden louvers were introduced on the upper floor. These provide a warm, natural contrast to the stone, while also offering shading, ventilation, and privacy for the bedrooms.

To meet the client’s request for openness, floor-to-ceiling glass panels were strategically integrated on the ground floor. These transparent surfaces create visual and physical connections to the pool, garden, and surrounding trees, making outdoor living spaces feel like an extension of the interiors. The glazing was also selected for its thermal performance, ensuring natural light without overheating the interiors.

The horizontal rooflines and clean structural lines emphasize a modern architectural identity. By projecting the roof beyond the main walls, the design provides passive shading, reducing solar gain and contributing to the villa’s energy efficiency. At the same time, this architectural gesture gives the villa a light, linear profile that highlights its contemporary character.

The villa’s exterior landscaping, with an infinity-edge pool, stone retaining walls, and carefully selected greenery, reinforces the design target of merging built space with nature. This composition answered the client’s wish for a retreat-like home that is equally suitable for entertaining and everyday family life.
